This includes preparing and processing essential shipping documents such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and commercial invoices. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule freight movements (road, sea, air) to meet customer delivery requirements and optimize efficiency.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders to secure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to internal teams and clients.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, and commercial invoices.
- Resolve logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, costs, and relevant data within our logistics management system.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in logistics operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a logistics, freight, or supply chain coordination role.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and transportation modes (road, sea, air).
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
