This includes preparing and processing essential shipping documents such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and commercial invoices. You will also be a primary point of contact for external partners, building strong relationships that foster mutual success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule freight movements (road, sea, air) to meet customer delivery requirements and optimize efficiency.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders to secure cost-effective transportation solutions.
  • Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to internal teams and clients.
  • Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, and commercial invoices.
  • Resolve logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments, costs, and relevant data within our logistics management system.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international shipping regulations and company policies.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in logistics operations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a logistics, freight, or supply chain coordination role.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and transportation modes (road, sea, air).
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree or professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
