Your daily activities will involve working with various types of aggregate materials, including gravel, sand, and crushed stone, ensuring they are prepared and moved efficiently for use in major infrastructure projects, including the Waterfront West LRT. This role is highly hands-on and physically demanding, requiring a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, reliable, and possess a positive attitude. No prior experience in aggregates is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. You will learn about aggregate screening, crushing processes, material handling, and adherence to strict safety protocols. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of aggregate materials.
  • Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including shoveling, sweeping, and general site cleanup.
  • Perform general labour duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Inspect materials for quality and report any deficiencies.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and machinery.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in daily safety briefings and contribute to a culture of safety.
