Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking an exceptional AI Engineer with a strong focus on model training and automation to join our innovative team in Bangor, Northern Ireland. This is a pivotal role where you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and scalable production systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust machine learning models, ensuring their optimal performance, reliability, and maintainability throughout their lifecycle. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver intelligent solutions that solve complex real-world problems for our clients across various sectors. This role demands a unique blend of theoretical machine learning knowledge and practical engineering prowess.

In this role, you will immerse yourself in the full spectrum of the AI development pipeline, from meticulous data preparation and feature engineering to the iterative process of model training, evaluation, and fine-tuning. You will be expected to ensure our models are not only accurate and performant but also interpretable and ethical, adhering to the highest industry standards. A critical component of this position involves implementing and maintaining sophisticated MLOps practices. This includes automating model deployment, establishing robust real-time performance monitoring systems, setting up continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines specifically for ML models, and rigorously managing version control for datasets, code, and model artifacts. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who can identify potential bottlenecks, propose innovative and scalable solutions, and contribute significantly to our architectural decisions and technology roadmap.

Beyond the technical execution, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative innovation. You will work closely with data scientists to translate their experimental prototypes into production-ready, resilient AI services. Collaboration with software engineers will be essential to seamlessly integrate AI models into larger application ecosystems, ensuring smooth data flow and optimal user experience. Furthermore, you will engage with product managers to understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for AI solutions. Your expertise will guide the selection of appropriate algorithms, machine learning frameworks, and cloud services, ensuring we leverage the best tools for the job. This is an unparalleled opportunity for an AI Engineer passionate about bringing models from experimentation to full-scale production, making a tangible impact on our product offerings and contributing to the strategic direction of our AI initiatives and the growth of our Belfast presence.
