Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our Airport Ground Staff team in Dudley, Birmingham, focusing on Boarding and Baggage Handling. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload passenger baggage and cargo from aircraft using appropriate ground support equipment (GSE).
- Operate various types of ground support equipment, including tugs, belt loaders, and pushback tractors, following strict safety guidelines.
- Guide aircraft to and from parking positions, providing clear signals to pilots and ensuring safe ground movement.
- Assist with passenger boarding and disembarkation processes, checking boarding passes and providing directions.
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on aircraft, ensuring all baggage and cargo holds are secure.
- Adhere strictly to all company, airport, and regulatory safety and security procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the ramp and in baggage handling areas.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to lift heavy luggage (up to 32kg) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, and outdoor environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Successful completion of a 5-year background check and criminal record check (CTC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physically demanding role, logistics, or a similar ground handling capacity.
- Experience operating ground support equipment.
- Knowledge of airport operations and aviation safety regulations.
