Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a talented and passionate Remote Android Developer to join our growing engineering team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Android applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of shipped applications.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
- Deep understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and JSON parsing.
- Familiarity with MVVM, MVP, or MVI architectural patterns.
- Strong knowledge of Git for version control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
- Knowledge of clean architecture principles.
- Experience with reactive programming (e.g., Coroutines, Flow).
