Hiring.zycto is searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Audio Visual Installer Helper to join our growing team in Islington-City Centre West, Toronto. This is an incredible opportunity for someone eager to learn the fundamentals of AV systems from the ground up, working alongside experienced technicians on diverse projects.
As an Audio Visual Installer Helper, you will be an integral part of our installation crew, responsible for assisting with the setup, deployment, and configuration of a wide range of AV equipment. This includes everything from mounting projectors and flat-panel displays, pulling and terminating cables, to assisting with the installation of audio systems, control systems, and video conferencing solutions. No prior extensive experience in AV is required; we are looking for individuals who possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the physical capability to handle tools and equipment.
Your day-to-day will involve hands-on tasks, preparing equipment for installation, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are on-site, and helping maintain a clean and organized work environment. You will be exposed to various aspects of commercial and residential AV integration, developing foundational skills in cabling, soldering, component handling, and system testing. This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work at heights, and navigate construction sites.
At Hiring.zycto, we are committed to fostering a supportive learning environment. You will receive on-the-job training, mentorship, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to projects from day one. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to roll up your sleeves to build a career in a cutting-edge industry, this is your chance to shine. Join us and help bring incredible AV experiences to life across Toronto!
