Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute audit programs, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases, under the supervision of senior auditors.
  • Prepare detailed audit workpapers, schedules, and financial statements in accordance with professional standards (ASPE, IFRS).
  • Perform substantive testing and tests of controls, documenting findings and exceptions.
  • Assist in identifying and assessing risks, evaluating internal controls, and developing audit strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with client personnel to gather information, clarify understanding, and resolve audit issues.
  • Conduct research on technical accounting and auditing issues and apply findings to audit engagements.
  • Contribute to the preparation of audit reports, management letters, and other client deliverables.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and professional development.
  • Adhere strictly to ethical standards and professional conduct throughout all engagements.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting principles and auditing standards (e.g., ASPE, IFRS, GAAS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
