Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and complete financial audits in accordance with established standards and timelines.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying weaknesses and recommending improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, conclusions, and actionable recommendations.
- Communicate audit results and recommendations clearly and concisely to management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand processes and gather necessary audit evidence.
- Stay current with changes in accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory landscapes.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of audit methodologies and tools.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in financial auditing and compliance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS, UK GAAP) and auditing standards.
