Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults in various vehicle types using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Install, service, and maintain vehicle wiring, electrical components, and electronic systems.
- Interpret and work from intricate wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
- Perform circuit testing, fault finding, and component replacement.
- Install auxiliary lighting, telematics, security systems, and other bespoke electronic enhancements.
- Ensure all electrical work adheres to industry standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality checks on completed work.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance performed.
- Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and clients.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive electrical technology and diagnostic techniques.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, with a strong focus on vehicle wiring.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical systems, components, and diagnostic procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Expertise in fault finding and problem-solving electrical issues.
- Strong practical skills in soldering, crimping, and routing wiring harnesses.
- Familiarity with various diagnostic software and equipment.

- Valid UK driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Electrics or Automotive Technology.

- Certifications in specific diagnostic tools or vehicle manufacturer systems.
- Experience with hybrid or electric vehicle (EV) electrical systems.
- Apprenticeship completion in an automotive electrical role.
