Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts using relevant frameworks and tools.
- Execute automated test suites and analyse test results, identifying and reporting defects with clear, concise details.
- Collaborate closely with senior QA engineers and development teams to understand requirements and test scenarios.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings, contributing to the Agile development process.
- Help maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect logs.
- Learn and apply new testing methodologies, tools, and technologies as the project demands.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and automation best practices.
- Conduct initial troubleshooting of test failures and identify potential root causes.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing principles.
- Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive attitude and a strong eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
