Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts using relevant frameworks and tools.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyse test results, identifying and reporting defects with clear, concise details.
  • Collaborate closely with senior QA engineers and development teams to understand requirements and test scenarios.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings, contributing to the Agile development process.
  • Help maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect logs.
  • Learn and apply new testing methodologies, tools, and technologies as the project demands.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and automation best practices.
  • Conduct initial troubleshooting of test failures and identify potential root causes.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing principles.
  • Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude and a strong eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with any test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
  • Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
