Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Engineer to join our growing remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Azure-based solutions, from initial architectural design through deployment, operation, and optimization. This includes developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, establishing and refining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, and ensuring strict adherence to security best practices. Beyond technical execution, you’ll collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams, acting as a subject matter expert for all things Azure. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for automated deployments.
- Monitor Azure services for performance, cost optimization, and security compliance, implementing improvements as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Azure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to best practices.
- Ensure strict adherence to security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices within the Azure environment.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical Azure infrastructure.
- Document cloud solutions, configurations, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience with various Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Networking, Storage, Security).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts (VPN, VNet, ExpressRoute, DNS) and security best practices in Azure.
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions in Azure (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service – AKS).
- Familiarity with database services in Azure (Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of identity management solutions (Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect).
- Experience with compliance frameworks and cloud governance in Azure.
