Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily banking transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
  • Perform account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items promptly.
  • Assist with the maintenance of customer accounts, ensuring data integrity and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide essential operational support to front-line staff, addressing inquiries related to banking procedures and system functionalities.
  • Monitor and process various banking reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Participate in the implementation and testing of new operational procedures and banking systems.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all federal and state banking regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Support audit preparations by gathering and organizing necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Handle sensitive customer information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking operations or a related financial services role.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations (e.g., BSA, AML, OFAC).
  • Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and transaction processing.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
