As a Bouncer with Hiring.zycto, you will be the first and last point of contact for many of our guests, setting the tone for their entire experience. This involves diligently monitoring entry points, verifying identification, enforcing venue policies, and managing crowd flow with professionalism and tact. Key Responsibilities
- Verify identification and age requirements for entry.
- Manage guest entry and exit, ensuring smooth crowd flow.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all patrons and staff.
- Proactively identify and de-escalate potential conflicts or disturbances.
- Enforce venue policies and licensing laws, including refusal of entry when necessary.
- Conduct regular patrols to monitor premises and identify security risks.
- Provide first-line response to incidents, including medical emergencies or altercations.
- Complete incident reports accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with venue management, police, and emergency services.
- Assist with evacuations or emergency procedures as required.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (mandatory)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to de-escalate confrontational situations calmly and effectively
- Strong observational and problem-solving abilities
- Physical fitness and stamina to stand for extended periods and respond to incidents
- Customer service-oriented approach with a professional demeanor
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a club, bar, or event security role
- First Aid at Work certification
- Knowledge of local licensing laws and regulations in Nottingham
- Experience with CCTV monitoring (desirable)
