Job Description

As a Bouncer, you will be the first point of contact for our patrons, playing a crucial role in maintaining a safe, secure, and enjoyable atmosphere for all. This isn’t just about security; it’s about providing exceptional customer service, exercising sound judgment, and ensuring compliance with all licensing regulations and company policies.
Your daily duties will involve managing crowd flow efficiently and courteously, verifying identification thoroughly to ensure legal entry, enforcing venue rules consistently, and de-escalating potential conflicts with a calm and authoritative presence. You will be responsible for bag searches, monitoring CCTV where applicable, and coordinating with venue management and emergency services when necessary. We are looking for individuals who possess excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive security team. You will be instrumental in upholding the positive reputation of our venues, ensuring that every guest feels safe, respected, and able to enjoy their experience without undue concern. This challenging yet rewarding role requires a keen eye for detail, quick thinking, and an unwavering commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer care.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar security role, particularly within a busy nightlife, hospitality, or large-scale event setting. You must be physically fit, capable of standing for extended periods, and able to react swiftly, professionally, and appropriately to various situations, from minor disputes to critical incidents. A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is an absolute requirement for this position, demonstrating your foundational competence and legal eligibility. If you are passionate about creating secure environments, thrive in a fast-paced setting where no two nights are the same, and are looking to make a significant impact in Belfast’s premier entertainment spots, then we encourage you to apply. This role offers the opportunity to become an integral part of a supportive team, dedicated to excellence in hospitality and security, with potential for further training and career development within our expanding portfolio of events and venues. We are committed to investing in our staff, recognising that our security personnel are key to our success.
