Job Description

This pivotal role requires a strong focus on maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons attending events and club nights at the prestigious Headingley Stadium in Leeds. As a Bouncer with Hiring.zycto, you will serve as the visible face of our security operations, directly responsible for managing entry points, ensuring strict compliance with venue policies, and proactively addressing any potential issues to prevent escalation. Your unwavering presence will be absolutely key to upholding order and delivering outstanding customer service in what can often be a high-energy and fast-paced setting.

You will be tasked with diligently checking identification to verify age, managing crowd flow efficiently to prevent bottlenecks, and politely yet firmly refusing entry to individuals who do not meet our entry criteria, such as those who are visibly intoxicated, aggressive, or non-compliant with dress codes. This position demands exceptional situational awareness, the proven ability to de-escalate conflicts calmly and effectively, and an unyielding commitment to professional conduct at all times. You will work in close collaboration with event organisers, venue management, and emergency services when necessary, forming an integral part of a wider, dedicated team committed to operational excellence and public safety.

Headingley Stadium is a vibrant hub for both sports and entertainment, consistently hosting a diverse range of events from major international sporting fixtures to large-scale concerts and private corporate functions. This means your role will be incredibly varied and exciting, requiring adaptability, quick thinking, and a keen understanding of the unique security requirements for different event types. You’ll be an essential part of an elite team ensuring that every event runs smoothly and safely, allowing guests to fully focus on enjoying their experience without concern. We firmly believe in providing our security professionals with the comprehensive tools, ongoing training, and consistent support they need to excel, fostering an environment where your critical skills are not only recognised but continuously developed.

This isn’t just a job; it’s a profound opportunity to protect, serve, and make a tangible difference in the community’s enjoyment of leisure and entertainment activities. We are actively seeking individuals who embody professionalism, possess truly strong communication skills, and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety and security protocols. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, can think quickly on your feet, and are genuinely passionate about delivering top-tier security services, we strongly encourage you to apply and become a vital, respected part of the Hiring.zycto family at one of Leeds’ most iconic and beloved venues.
