Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and proactive Bouncer – Club & Event Entry Control to join our elite team. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently control entry and exit points, verifying age and identification, and refusing entry to intoxicated or prohibited individuals in accordance with licensing regulations.
- Maintain a visible and reassuring presence, monitoring the premises for any signs of disorder, suspicious activity, or potential threats.
- Proactively engage in crowd management, ensuring smooth flow, preventing overcrowding, and responding to incidents swiftly and effectively.
- De-escalate conflicts and manage challenging situations with professionalism, employing tactful communication and appropriate intervention techniques.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents or disturbances, providing initial assistance and liaising with emergency services and venue management.
- Complete detailed incident reports, documenting all significant occurrences, observations, and actions taken.
- Work collaboratively with the venue management team, event organisers, and fellow security personnel to ensure seamless operations and a safe environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements regarding security operations and customer service.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential.
- Proven ability in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- Exceptional observational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong understanding of licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanour.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and react quickly to situations.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of personal integrity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current First Aid at Work certification.
- Previous experience working in busy club or large event environments.
- Additional security-related qualifications or training (e.g., control and restraint).
- Familiarity with venues and events specifically within the Sheffield area.
