As a Brewery Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our brewery, assisting with various stages of the brewing and packaging process. This role is physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment. You will be an integral part of our close-knit team, contributing directly to the creation of high-quality craft beers that delight our customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of wort production, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, and transferring wort.
  • Perform cellar duties such as fermentation monitoring, dry hopping, yeast handling, and beer transfers.
  • Support packaging operations, including operating bottling, canning, or kegging lines.
  • Clean and sanitize fermentation tanks, bright tanks, kegs, and other brewery equipment with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Assist with inventory management of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies.
  • Perform general brewery maintenance and upkeep, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Learn and adapt to new processes and technologies as required.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.

Required Skills

  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
  • Excellent attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a genuine interest in craft beer.
  • Must be 19 years of age or older (legal drinking age in Saskatchewan).

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with industrial equipment.
  • Previous experience in a food production, manufacturing, or similar environment.
  • Forklift certification (training can be provided).
