Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our growing team as a Bricklayer Assistant in Palmerston, Toronto. As a Bricklayer Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced bricklayers, supporting them in all aspects of their daily tasks. Your primary role will be to assist with material handling, site preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled bricklayers and masons with various tasks on construction sites.
- Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, mixing mortar, and ensuring all necessary tools and materials are readily available.
- Safely transport bricks, blocks, mortar, and other masonry materials across the job site.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment by clearing debris, sweeping, and disposing of waste materials properly.
- Learn and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order for daily use.
- Support the team by performing general labour duties as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the project.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new techniques and follow instructions from experienced tradespeople.

- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Toronto area.
