Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled maintenance technicians with various repair and maintenance tasks across our properties.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including changing light bulbs, filters, and checking basic systems.
  • Help with minor plumbing fixes, painting touch-ups, and general carpentry duties as directed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms, storage areas, and company vehicles/tools.
  • Respond to and resolve minor tenant maintenance requests promptly and courteously.
  • Support groundskeeping duties, including litter pick-up, minor landscaping, and snow removal in winter.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored, cleaned, and maintained after use.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Report any major maintenance issues, potential hazards, or necessary repairs to supervisors.
  • Assist with moving furniture, equipment, or materials as required for various projects.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding and safe use of common hand and power tools.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take direction effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Dependable transportation to and from the work site.

Preferred Qualifications
