Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled maintenance technicians with various repair and maintenance tasks across our properties.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, including changing light bulbs, filters, and checking basic systems.
- Help with minor plumbing fixes, painting touch-ups, and general carpentry duties as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms, storage areas, and company vehicles/tools.
- Respond to and resolve minor tenant maintenance requests promptly and courteously.
- Support groundskeeping duties, including litter pick-up, minor landscaping, and snow removal in winter.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored, cleaned, and maintained after use.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any major maintenance issues, potential hazards, or necessary repairs to supervisors.
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, or materials as required for various projects.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
- Basic understanding and safe use of common hand and power tools.
