Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers and designers in the creation of detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models.
- Prepare, review, and revise drawings according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Convert sketches, redline mark-ups, and design notes into accurate CAD representations.
- Maintain and organise CAD files, ensuring proper version control and documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and integrate feedback.
- Perform basic calculations and data analysis to support design decisions.
- Ensure all work adheres to company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving sessions.
- Continuously learn and apply new CAD techniques and software functionalities.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, Revit).
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and drafting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Basic knowledge of geometry, algebra, and trigonometry.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant qualification (e.g., HNC/HND, Degree) in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
- Prior experience with PDM/PLM systems.
