Key Responsibilities

  • Perform 12-lead electrocardiograms (ECGs) accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare patients for various cardiovascular diagnostic procedures, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
  • Assist medical staff during stress tests and other complex cardiac assessments.
  • Apply and remove Holter and event monitors, providing clear patient instructions for their use.
  • Maintain and calibrate cardiovascular diagnostic equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
  • Document patient information, test results, and observations meticulously and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with all patient safety protocols, confidentiality standards (HIPAA/PHIPA), and infection control guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
