Key Responsibilities
- Perform 12-lead electrocardiograms (ECGs) accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare patients for various cardiovascular diagnostic procedures, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
- Assist medical staff during stress tests and other complex cardiac assessments.
- Apply and remove Holter and event monitors, providing clear patient instructions for their use.
- Maintain and calibrate cardiovascular diagnostic equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Document patient information, test results, and observations meticulously and accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all patient safety protocols, confidentiality standards (HIPAA/PHIPA), and infection control guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
