Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, with dignity and respect.
- Assist with medication reminders and administration, adhering strictly to care plans.
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities and provide companionship, fostering social interaction.
- Perform light household duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Document and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care manager promptly.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 months proven experience in a care setting (can include personal experience).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Full UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle.
- Experience with specific medical conditions (e.g., dementia care, Parkinson's).
