Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, with dignity and respect.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment to ensure safety.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring dietary intake, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition and hydration.
- Engage residents in meaningful social activities, conversations, and companionship to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health, behavior, or condition to the supervising nurse or management promptly.
- Document care provided accurately and efficiently, maintaining confidential resident records.
- Respond to resident calls and requests for assistance in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic resident care.
