Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with washing, dressing, and mobility, while promoting independence.
- Administer medication as prescribed, adhering strictly to company protocols and safety guidelines after receiving training.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration for clients.
- Perform light household tasks and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in stimulating activities appropriate to their needs and preferences.
- Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, or errands, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor and accurately report any changes in clients' health, behavior, or well-being to the care manager or supervisor.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety principles and a willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, which may include weekends and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care-giving role (e.g., Carer, Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant) is a plus but not essential.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent qualification.
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- First Aid certification.
