Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Caregiver to join a welcoming family in the picturesque Dunbar-Southlands neighbourhood of Vancouver. This unique opportunity includes visa sponsorship for eligible international candidates, offering a seamless path to establishing a fulfilling career and life in Canada. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality personal care and companionship, fostering a supportive and engaging environment for our client, typically an elderly individual or someone with specific health needs requiring consistent attention.
As a Live-In Caregiver, you will become an integral part of the household, offering essential support that ensures comfort, dignity, and a high quality of life. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of daily activities, from assisting with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming) and medication reminders to preparing nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements, and managing light household duties such as tidying living spaces and laundry. Beyond the practical aspects, your role will be vital in providing meaningful emotional support and companionship, engaging the client in stimulating activities like reading, walks, hobbies, or social outings, thereby promoting mental alertness and physical well-being. This live-in arrangement provides both stability and reduced living expenses for you, as well as continuous, personalized care for the client, building a strong bond based on trust and mutual respect within a private family setting.
This position is ideal for experienced caregivers who are looking for a long-term commitment and wish to make Vancouver their home. We understand the complexities of international relocation and are committed to guiding you through the visa sponsorship process, making your transition as smooth as possible. You will be provided with comfortable, private accommodations within the family home, alongside meals, significantly reducing your living expenses and allowing you to focus on your professional development and personal growth in beautiful British Columbia. We strive to create a harmonious working relationship where both the caregiver and the family feel supported and understood.
Joining Hiring.zycto means becoming part of a network that values your dedication and provides continuous support. We champion a work environment where caregivers feel appreciated, respected, and empowered to make a genuine difference. If you possess a kind heart, professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to care, we encourage you to apply. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to build a new life in a vibrant, multicultural city while pursuing a deeply rewarding career where your compassion directly impacts someone’s daily happiness and well-being.
