Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments, ensuring correct change is given.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products or services.
- Resolve minor customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and security.
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist with basic stock replenishment around the checkout area when required.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all shoppers.
