Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process all customer transactions, including cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments.
- Greet customers warmly, engage in friendly conversation, and provide exceptional service throughout their visit.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and tidy checkout area at all times.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items, and provide helpful information.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve customer issues efficiently and courteously.
- Monitor checkout lines, manage customer flow, and call for assistance when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure overall store or venue operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including security, loss prevention, and health and safety guidelines.
- Perform end-of-shift duties, including reconciling cash drawers and preparing reports.
- Support promotional activities and provide information on special offers to customers.
- Maintain product knowledge relevant to the department or store to better assist customers.
Required Skills
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
