Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to understand project requirements, character breakdowns, and artistic vision.
- Develop comprehensive casting strategies and timelines for various projects, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Conduct extensive talent searches, leveraging personal networks, online databases, talent agencies, and industry events to identify suitable actors.
- Organize and manage auditions, including scheduling, preparing audition materials, and providing a welcoming and professional environment for talent.
- Oversee the entire audition process, including recording, managing digital files, and presenting curated selections to key stakeholders.
- Negotiate actor contracts and rates, working in conjunction with legal and production teams to finalize agreements.
- Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with talent agents, managers, and other industry professionals.
- Provide insightful feedback and recommendations on actor performances and suitability for roles.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging talent, and casting technologies.
- Manage a robust talent database and ensure all information is current and compliant with privacy regulations.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all casting decisions.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a Casting Director or Senior Casting Associate.
- Demonstrable track record of successful casting for film, television, or major commercial projects.

- Profound understanding of acting techniques and performance nuances.
