Key Responsibilities
- Assist the catering team with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, and decor.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and plating dishes.
- Transport food, beverages, and equipment safely to and from event locations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner during events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, catering equipment, and storage spaces.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Assist with washing dishes, cleaning kitchen utensils, and ensuring all equipment is properly stored.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, anticipating needs and responding to requests promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the catering and event management team.
