Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and preparation of event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and buffet stations according to event specifications.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks, ensuring adherence to strict food hygiene standards and presentation.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all catering areas, including kitchens, serving stations, and dining areas, both during and after events.
- Operate and clean catering equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines.
- Replenish food and drink supplies as needed throughout events to ensure continuous and uninterrupted service.
- Assist with the breakdown of event setups and thorough cleaning of equipment and premises, ready for the next event.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including COSHH, and company policies and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with colleagues and management to ensure smooth event execution.
