Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking an exceptional Catering Manager to lead our dedicated hospitality team in Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all catering operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of catering staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement innovative menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients, dietary requirements, and client preferences.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor financial performance to achieve profitability targets.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and health and safety policies.
  • Plan, organize, and execute catering for various events, from small meetings to large-scale functions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring consistent product quality.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Implement inventory control procedures, minimize waste, and manage stock levels efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in catering management, preferably within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP) and hygiene practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications
