Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation, including chopping, washing, and assembling ingredients.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Operate till systems, handle cash and card payments accurately, and reconcile daily takings.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all catering areas, including dining spaces, kitchens, and equipment.
- Wash dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils, ensuring they are sanitised and ready for use.
- Set up and clear down dining areas, ensuring they are presentable for service.
- Replenish stock levels for food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure smooth service delivery.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices (training will be provided).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or customer service role.
- Food Safety Level 2 certificate (or willingness to obtain one immediately).
- Experience operating a till and handling cash transactions.
