Job Description

Hiring.zycto is looking for a highly vigilant and dedicated CCTV Operator to join our security team in the historic Dean Village, Edinburgh. This is a critical full-time position responsible for maintaining a secure environment through continuous surveillance and proactive monitoring of our advanced CCTV systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor CCTV cameras and associated equipment to detect and report any suspicious or unusual activities.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to alarms and emergency situations, escalating issues to relevant personnel or emergency services as required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all incidents, observations, and actions taken.
  • Review and retrieve CCTV footage for evidential purposes in support of investigations.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and data protection regulations (GDPR) regarding surveillance and information handling.
  • Conduct regular checks on CCTV equipment to ensure full functionality and report any faults.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with security teams, management, and external agencies.
  • Provide real-time updates and support to on-site security personnel during incidents.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar surveillance role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
