Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and tax functions.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the CEO and Board of Directors on all investment decisions, capital structure, and risk management.
- Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, ensuring robust financial models and projections.
- Manage investor relations, articulate financial performance, and support fundraising initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and internal controls.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing proactive solutions to safeguard company assets.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.
- Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures from a financial perspective, leading due diligence efforts.
Required Skills
- CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Proven track record as a CFO or VP of Finance in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company, preferably within technology or financial services.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic financial planning, capital allocation, and risk management.
- Strong understanding of M&A, fundraising, and investor relations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and compliance.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools.
