Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term objectives and growth plans.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and tax functions.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the CEO and Board of Directors on all investment decisions, capital structure, and risk management.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, ensuring robust financial models and projections.
  • Manage investor relations, articulate financial performance, and support fundraising initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and internal controls.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing proactive solutions to safeguard company assets.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.
  • Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures from a financial perspective, leading due diligence efforts.

Required Skills

  • CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Proven track record as a CFO or VP of Finance in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company, preferably within technology or financial services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic financial planning, capital allocation, and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of M&A, fundraising, and investor relations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in a publicly traded company or with preparing for IPO.
  • International financial management experience.
  • Previous experience working with private equity or venture capital-backed organizations.
