Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and impartial review of submitted insurance claims, ensuring adherence to policy terms and legal requirements.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of all claim documentation, including reports, estimates, and statements.
- Assess claim validity and make informed decisions on approvals, denials, or further investigation requirements.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, brokers, and internal stakeholders regarding claim status and decisions.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all claims are processed in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Identify and investigate potential discrepancies, fraud indicators, or policy violations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all claim activities and decisions within our claims management system.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Claims Adjuster, Claims Handler, or similar role.
- Proven experience in claims review and approval processes.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance policies, principles, and industry regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Professional insurance certifications (e.g., CII qualification).
- Experience with specific types of insurance claims (e.g., property, casualty, liability).
