Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of cleaning operatives to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
- Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all areas of the public building.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are consistently met and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and COSHH regulations at all times.
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, ordering new stock as required and ensuring proper maintenance of machinery.
- Liaise effectively with building management and other stakeholders to coordinate cleaning activities and report issues.
- Provide hands-on cleaning support when necessary, demonstrating best practices.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Implement and monitor waste management and recycling procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, inspections, and incidents.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory cleaning role, preferably within a public or commercial building.
