Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in/check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the clinic's appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain organized patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Prepare examination rooms before and after patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and adequate supplies.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, including filing, faxing, scanning, and managing office correspondence.
  • Process patient payments and assist with basic billing inquiries under supervision.
  • Order, receive, and stock office and medical supplies, monitoring inventory levels.
  • Liaise with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and operational efficiency.
  • Provide general support to clinical staff, assisting with non-medical tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy reception area and waiting room.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
