Are you a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist seeking an opportunity to flourish in a dynamic private practice environment? Hiring.zycto is actively recruiting for an experienced professional to join our team, serving the diverse community of Rouge, Toronto. This role offers the chance to build and manage your own caseload, specializing in areas of your expertise while benefiting from robust administrative support and a collaborative peer network. We are looking for a psychologist who is passionate about delivering evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions, dedicated to client-centred care, and committed to continuous professional development. You will have the autonomy to shape your practice, developing tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families navigating a range of mental health challenges including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and adjustment difficulties. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnostic formulations, and risk assessments for a diverse client population.
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans using various therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy).
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients across the lifespan.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical records in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, referring physicians, and community resources as appropriate.
  • Participate in regular peer consultation and professional development activities.
  • Adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards of practice set by the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO).
  • Manage a consistent caseload, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university program.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO).
  • Minimum 4 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably private practice.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment and diagnosis.
  • Proficiency in delivering evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specific populations (e.g., adolescents, seniors, LGBTQ2+).
  • Specialized training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., EMDR, Gottman Method).
  • Experience working with complex trauma or personality disorders.
  • Ability to provide services in a second language.
  • Previous experience supervising junior clinicians or students.
