Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Develop and maintain cloud architecture roadmaps, strategies, and standards in alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and provide expert guidance to development and operations teams.
  • Oversee the migration of on-premise applications and data to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
  • Implement and manage cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Monitor cloud resource utilization, performance, and costs, implementing optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust architectural designs.
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
  • Demonstrable expertise with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including certifications.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, VPNs, Load Balancers, DNS) and security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
  • Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Multiple certifications across different cloud platforms.
  • Experience with serverless computing paradigms (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and data warehousing solutions in the cloud.
  • Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing architectural role.
