As our Cloud Engineer, you will be at the forefront of transforming traditional server deployments into cutting-edge cloud-native environments. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources through CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization, implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers, both on-premise and within cloud environments.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into cloud infrastructure and optimize their performance.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide expert support for critical incidents and system outages.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies and provide recommendations for adoption to enhance our infrastructure capabilities.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure services (Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure AD, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing) in a cloud context.
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch).
- Knowledge of database administration (SQL and NoSQL) in cloud environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
