Job Description

Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a highly motivated and curious Junior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic and fully remote team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud resources across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and contribute to their resolution.
  • Write and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate routine operational tasks and deployments.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
  • Participate in incident response and troubleshooting efforts to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, continuously seeking to expand knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and operational policies within the cloud environment.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services (e.g., AWS EC2/S3, Azure VMs/Storage, GCP Compute Engine/Storage).
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line interface.
  • Basic scripting ability in Python or Bash.
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for a remote team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
