Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming products in designated cold storage areas.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely (training provided).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the cold storage facility.
- Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and food handling regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for cold environments.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in cold and/or freezer conditions for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for inventory tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
