Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Commis Chef to join our culinary team in Herdings, Sheffield. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs with the preparation and cooking of various dishes, adhering to recipes and quality standards.
  • Perform mise en place tasks, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing basic components.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation, ensuring all equipment is spotless and properly stored.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP) at all times.
  • Receive and store deliveries efficiently, checking for quality and quantity.
  • Support the kitchen team in managing inventory and minimising waste.
  • Undertake general kitchen duties, including washing up and cleaning of floors and surfaces.
  • Show eagerness to learn new cooking techniques and contribute positively to team morale.
