Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough community needs assessments to identify key areas for intervention and development.
- Design, develop, and implement community development programs and projects aligned with organizational goals.
- Forge and maintain strong partnerships with community leaders, residents, local businesses, non-profits, and government entities.
- Prepare comprehensive grant proposals and secure funding from various sources to support community initiatives.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient and effective program delivery.
- Organize and facilitate community meetings, workshops, and events to foster engagement and participation.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs, preparing detailed reports on progress and outcomes.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for community inquiries and feedback, ensuring timely and professional responses.

- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers or temporary staff for specific community projects as needed.

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally within the community.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Community Development, Urban Planning, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with diverse populations and underserved communities.
- Familiarity with the socio-economic landscape and community resources within Henderson, KY.
