Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market pricing and salary benchmarking using various survey sources and data analysis techniques.
  • Analyze internal pay equity and recommend adjustments to ensure fairness, consistency, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Participate in the design, development, and administration of diverse compensation programs, including base pay structures, short-term incentives, and long-term awards.
  • Prepare detailed compensation reports and insightful analyses for management review, highlighting key trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to HR business partners, managers, and leadership on compensation policies, practices, and individual pay decisions.
  • Assist in job evaluation and grading processes to maintain consistent and equitable salary structures across client organizations.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant compensation laws, regulations, and reporting requirements across various jurisdictions.
  • Support and facilitate annual compensation review cycles, bonus payout processes, and merit increase programs.
  • Contribute to compensation-related projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and policy development.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Compensation Analyst or in a similar analytical role focusing on total rewards.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling, macros).
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, practices, market benchmarking methodologies, and job evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and recommendations clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic remote work environment.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and compensation management systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) designation or actively pursuing certification.
  • Experience with global compensation practices and multi-country remuneration frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create compelling compensation insights.
  • Prior experience working within a consulting environment or with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
