Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage and general inquiries.
- Provide comprehensive and accurate information about local attractions, events, dining, transportation, and services.
- Handle all guest requests promptly and efficiently, including reservations for restaurants, theatres, tours, and transportation.
- Anticipate guest needs and offer personalized recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Maintain a detailed log of all guest requests and follow-up actions.
- Liaise effectively with other hotel/apartment departments (e.g., front desk, housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and messages for guests.
- Assist with emergency situations and provide calm, effective solutions.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and guest privacy.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting a positive image of Hiring.zycto.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a concierge, guest services, or similar hospitality role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Extensive knowledge of Glasgow and surrounding areas, including attractions, dining, and cultural hotspots.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
- Impeccable personal presentation and a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and reservation systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
