Hiring.zycto is seeking an exceptional Concierge to provide outstanding Hotel & Apartment Assistance in Musselburgh, Edinburgh. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome all guests and residents, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Provide comprehensive information and recommendations on local attractions, dining, entertainment, and transportation.
  • Assist with reservations for restaurants, theatres, tours, and other services, often securing exclusive access.
  • Coordinate luggage handling, parcel deliveries, and maintain accurate records of incoming/outgoing items.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently, maintaining discretion and professionalism.
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, including key management and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain an immaculate and welcoming lobby and reception area, ensuring all amenities are well-stocked.
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance, ensuring a seamless and luxury experience.
  • Liaise effectively with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, security) to fulfill guest requests.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a concierge, front desk, or high-end customer service role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Profound knowledge of Edinburgh and the Musselburgh area, including local attractions, restaurants, and transport.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Guestline) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a genuine desire to assist others.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in additional languages (e.g., French, German, Mandarin).
