Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, etc.) with various tasks on construction sites.
- Learn and apply safe work practices and procedures, adhering to all company and OSHA regulations.
- Help with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up equipment, and organizing materials.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, digging, carrying materials, and operating basic hand and power tools.
- Support the loading and unloading of construction materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools are properly stored and areas are free of hazards.
- Observe and learn proper techniques for construction methods, tool usage, and material handling.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other site personnel.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and challenges as part of a dynamic construction team.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and safely.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous tasks.
