Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, masons, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment around the job site.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by clearing debris and waste.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering strictly to safety guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols, instructions, and site-specific procedures.
- Prepare work areas by setting up and taking down equipment, scaffolding, and temporary structures.
- Perform general labour duties as assigned by site supervisors or project managers.
- Support the team in achieving project milestones and deadlines.
- Learn and apply new construction techniques and best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
