Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, masons, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment around the job site.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by clearing debris and waste.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering strictly to safety guidelines.
  • Follow all safety protocols, instructions, and site-specific procedures.
  • Prepare work areas by setting up and taking down equipment, scaffolding, and temporary structures.
  • Perform general labour duties as assigned by site supervisors or project managers.
  • Support the team in achieving project milestones and deadlines.
  • Learn and apply new construction techniques and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
