Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a diligent and motivated Entry-Level Construction Site Security Helper to join our growing team in Los Angeles. As a Construction Site Security Helper, you will be an integral part of ensuring the safety and security of our active construction sites, protecting valuable assets, equipment, and personnel. Your primary role will involve maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access points, conducting regular patrols, and promptly reporting any unusual activities or potential hazards. This role is fundamental to preventing theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access, contributing directly to the project’s success and timeline.

You’ll be working closely with site managers, foremen, and other security personnel, providing essential support in day-to-day operations. This position requires physical presence on site, the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of construction perimeters and interior site areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security breaches.
- Monitor and control access points for vehicles and personnel, ensuring all visitors and workers adhere to site entry/exit protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, visitor sign-ins, and any incidents or observations during shifts.
- Report suspicious activities, unauthorized personnel, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly to the Site Supervisor or designated personnel.
- Assist in securing the site at the end of the day, including checking gates, fences, and ensuring equipment is safely stored.
- Collaborate with site management and other security staff to implement and uphold site security policies and procedures.
- Provide basic assistance and direction to authorized visitors and deliveries.
- Respond to alarms or emergency situations as directed, following established protocols.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a security-related role, even informal.
- Knowledge of basic security procedures.
